Enable two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to sign-in, so a stolen password alone cannot access your account.

Set it up

1. Go to Settings and open the two-factor section.
2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password and similar).
3. Enter the code from the app to confirm.
4. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — they let you back in if you lose your device.

Email fallback

You can enable an email fallback code as a backup method, and manage trusted devices so you are not prompted every time on machines you use often.

Why it matters

Your SoftServer account controls real servers, billing and customer data. 2FA is the single most effective step you can take to protect it — enable it today.
