Install PrestaShop on a VPS

Run a PrestaShop store on your own VPS with SoftServer. The web server, PHP, database and PrestaShop are installed from the panel — no manual setup.

Install steps

1. Open your server and go to Platform Installation.
2. Choose PrestaShop.
3. Confirm the install. Nginx, PHP, MariaDB and PrestaShop are configured automatically.
4. Open the store URL shown in the panel and complete the PrestaShop installer.

After install

• Add your domain under Domains and enable free SSL for secure checkout.
• Manage the database from the Databases section, and install phpMyAdmin if you want a visual editor.
• Turn on automatic backups before you add products or take live orders.
• Increase PHP memory and upload limits from PHP management for large catalogs.
